Default Where to buy OEM parts

I know there are a few other threads but they are dated. So where is the best place to get oem parts for a good price?

Do a search for "OEM parts". There's a thread on this once a week.

If you're having a hard time finding a particular part, head down to your local Subaru Dealership; their prices will end up being a bit higher in most cases but sometimes it's the only way to track down misc. clips/bolts/etc. Being friends with some of the employees and getting their discount doesn't hurt, so maybe I'm a bit biased

My local subie parts dept knows me by name, gives me a nasioc discount and shipping is no charge. If part is not in stock it's there 3-4 days later.

Certainly is good to have friends in certain places. I love that car guys form mutual relationships on the basis of being cheap asses

Celtic Motorsport has an awesome store on ebay with "GENUINE" Subaru OEM parts NOT the stuff from CHINA. They offer free delivery as well.

Idk how much I trust "GENUINE" parts. It's almost like having "FRESH" burger meat, I'd go for Fred Beans or SGP if ordering online. My local dealer price matches so its not an issue for me

When I say "Genuine", I mean actual Subaru parts in Subaru boxes and bags. My dealer use to sell me my Subie parts at wholesale prices but a new management regime came in and stopped that. For $265, I could have had the entire Gates timing belt kit w/ water pump, thermostat etc, etc. but Celtic sells the "Real genuine kit" from Subaru for $634 shipped. I know I could have saved over $300 if I bought the Gates kit but for me, buying the actual parts that came on the car gives me more piece of mind. Also, I think it's worth the extra money since it's the first time in 175,000 miles I've done it.
