Default What's Your Job and Do You Like It???

Let's hear it folks. What do you do for a living day in and day out...and do you particularly enjoy it?

How many hours do you usually end up working weekly?

Salary?

Spill the beans...

I am Director of IT, (read: IT department), at a special ed. school. (Yes, we have many short buses). I work about 40 hours a week, mainly because I either let things go from day to day or get them done insanely fast. My salary's enough to get me by living here in the middle of nowhere, where I ride my bike every chance I get. That, and I get the summers off, too!

I wish I could get summers off...that's really awesome.

I work ~60 hours a week driving forklifts in warehouses.

Coinstar... makes .09 on your dollar so it does the counting of your coins for you.

I turned in $200 in coins at the bank. Spent 3 hours counting and rolling myself. Or, if I just went to coinstar for 5 minutes, I would have only $182.

I develop training for the Navy.

I've done the same thing. I had about $150 and I did it myself. Why would I throw away 20 bones for no reason?

I work Business Tech support for desktops, laptops for 95/98/ME/NT/win 2k/XP for Gateway. I usually like my job. Only because I get to surf the 'net the whole time I'm here. They treat us pretty good.

I am in the $25,000-$28,000 range But we have lots of bonus's, and awards that we can go for as well. They try to keep it interesting for us...

I am a Project Engineer at RMF Engineering in Baltimore. I work in the Chilled Water Group in the Infrastructure Department. Basically I design building systems and powerplants. It's not designing cars (like I originally wanted to do), but it's a great company and I enjoy the work that I do.

I usually work between 45-50 hours on average.

Salary is decent, however, I could always use more, especially since housing prices have gone through the roof here.

I go to school full time and work about 30 to 40 hours a week as a karate instructor. I like my job most of the time, but sometimes kids just get to you. The guys I work for own 5 schools in the area so I usually get to teach by myself or with my co-worker. Can't complain...

I like my work, hate the company I work for...
I am judged on years worked not knoledge (even though I am a Master in my feild)... I make good money don't get me wrong.
It is a "family owned" company (stupid kids work there too) my boss is a hypocrate (sp)
:monkey: them, I've expressed my concerns, but it is pointless.
The morale of the company has gone good to good for nothing.
My co-workers & I stick around for the benifits & $...
Glad you asked huh?
