Default 18x8 Wheels = Rubbing?

I'm trying to decide between Volk TE-37s and SSR Competitions. The Volks come in 18x7.5" and the SSR Comps come in 18x8". Will I have any rubbing issues with the 18x8"s or will they stick out passed the fender? How wide is too wide?

Default bump

Kickz...you might want to specify wagon or sedan and if you intend to lower it.

I don't speak from experience, but I'm pretty sure you'll be okay with a 18x8 width on the sedan. Would probably have problems with wagon, but I think you'll be ok even if you lower it a little.

I've got 17x7.5 with 225/45-17s and the Prodrive springs, and I never rub... I don't think having another .5 inches would rub either.
