Here's to hoping this event is better than last year. It's been going down hill since the first one.

Yeah, last year was a total **** show. Doubt if I'll be making the drive down.

How far away is the general parking from the show parking? Is there map diagram of the area?

I believe there was a lack of food issue (a long wait time)... The neighborhood that was insanity... The autocross you had to walk forever to get to (I didn't even know there was autocross till afterwards)... Not sure what other issues there may have been.

PIR is a great venue, which is partly why we moved. The autox, food, vendors, and parking are all literally next to each other. The only situation we'll have is an overflow lot should the main lot get a little tight.

Also the track is handling the food this time, which also fixes some issues. Getting trucks out to Bremertucky last year wasn't easy. This time it'll be no probalo!

Don't blame the venue on organizational issues, it's just tacky. There were more than a handful of problems last year. Bremerton sports car club who Big NW piggy backed on for autox, wasn't aware of details for the BNW group. That's a BNW issue, not BSCC. Not once did we see a representative from BNW interacting with the autox portion. There certainly wasn't anyone to help direct traffic or give instruction. We nearly missed the raffle and awards, which we were told ahead of time there would be plenty of time for. We didn't have time to even look around the cars at the show portion. The announcer as always is downright a noxious and annoying. He didn't even announce all the times for the winners of the respective autox classes. None of the autox classes were inspected. People were running very prepped cars in the stock class because they could. When we got there in the morning, even the event organizers who were there setting up didn't know what was going on with the autox portion. Food shouldn't be a problem. If you hire any food vendors, you better make damn sure they know where they are going, what is expected of them, and that they damn well better show up. I don't know of any major issues with the car show portion because we didn't get to see any of it except the awards portion. You could have at least told the crowd what the winning car of each category was since we don't know peoples names from Adam. I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting as I tend not to remember crappy events.

C/N: awful show/meet/race/whatever. Horribly organized. Needs to get revamped excessively on an organizational and managerial level before it's worth attending.

My opinion and experience as well as others.

Quick noob question, I got auto cross tickets and I need to get an idea in what and where I will need to go once I get there. Will they direct me to a special parking for ones that are auto crossing at the main gate? Any ideas or advice will be awesome, thanks.

Yes sir. You'll also get an email the week of the event with specific instructions. The schedule itself is still TBD.
