They could blaim any such mistakes on these guys.

Looks like you can get 4 Gram Lights entirely free if you are willing to buy a free set of 4.

Default just talked to them...

they don't take credit cards any more. So if you place an order using a credit card then they call you and ask you to send a money order or cashier's check.

I think that when they call to ask me to send a check they may figure out their problem. Oh well, see I knew it was too good to be true.

You want a PCD of 5x100. You want an offset of +48. (On Volks thats as high as you can get).

That would be so sweet... I should try and buy a set at $99. I mean, what if it works... If not I can always cancel the order.

Just another funny tidbit...

If you entered your credit card number on the order form, did you look at the URL at the top of your screen?

It an http address, not an https address. You just sent every hacker out there your credit card number, expiration date, and billing address.

This is usually due to buyers error, right such as wrong order? When they say " Prices are subject to change without notice." This is "usually" meant on returns. And the buyer will get the lowest sale price.

Why should the consumer have to pay for there errors?

I need a disclaimer:
Condition of Purchase: All purchases are final. Seller refuses to send product there will be a $75.00 "my time fee" and a 25% restocking my credit card back to my wallet fee. A 50% "getting my hopes up" fee, and a nice lawsuit for false advertisement fee.

Hey its not our fault they can't run a website. Test before you go live.

Arent you trying to get a set of free wheels? You trying to get something for free, what are you paying for.

BTW. Legally, you don't have a leg to stand on. Any invoice you print from a computer is digitally manipulatable material and is about as legally binding to them, as you making up a receipt for their company. The only "cough" legal action you could take would be to sue for damages. You would have to prove that their actions were willful and cost you in some way. Perhaps you can take them on "Judge Judy" and explain to her how they hurt your feelings by not giving you free wheels. Mental anguish and all.

You guys are killin me

Im def. trying to get some free wheels!

But if you go into a store with an add that reads let say 200.00 for a desk, but when you get there that desk is actually 599.00 they HAVE to give you the add price. so legally I have 2 legs to stand on.
But like you said with the manipulation of the invoice can cause some problems. But then again we have witnesses! i definately wont persue any legal action of course, But i believe it can be a good fight.

Thought this was interesting..believe me, I wish you the best of luck!

"TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS: In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, GTP International Inc. shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. GTP International Inc. shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, GTP International Inc. shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge. "

This place is sketchy... any way you look at it! Although, the price is right. Just because we are intelligent people doesn't mean that they can sucker you into a price and change it, it's not ethical any way you look at it. Although we all know that these rims tend to sell for more than, well, nothing. The fact is that there are morons out there, I see them every day, they buy rims too.. they would be the ones getting screwed on this deal if they change the billing price! Just act like an ignorant car enthusiast!

Just to chime in - I was in on an attempt to get a GF4 graphics card from BestBuy.com -- well, me and about 1400 other people who also placed "promotional offer" orders.

Bottom line, BB caught the error and sent us all cancellation notices the next day that our credit cards would NOT be charged, NOR would we receive the product or any sort of "compensation." They said it was their error, and their computer problem, NOT false advertising or a bait-and-switch thing.

I imagine the same will happen here. There is NO way they're going to send you the wheels without your prior approval to pay the full price (whatever that happens to be) -- If they do, and they try to charge you, you win. You may have to legally send them back if you choose not to pay for them, but I don't see how you will pay anything at all.

UNLESS they are just plain dumb, in which case, you win!

Cirrus....i had something similar happen to me: i ordered an IBM wireless LAN card for $9 from bestbuy.com. they sent me a cancellation notice since it was a price mistake, but they did give me a $20 gift cert for my next purchase. i wasn't so sour about that.

its definitely too good to be true.....they're gonna bite you in the ass for the restocking fee...

but i definitely went on there and if u click on the wheels...they show you list US prices for each wheel. They just dont show that in the shopping cart feature....but its definitely shown there prices for each wheel...

Default I'm not a lawyer, but...

OK, here's what I know about this kind of stuff.

1) Printed stuff is admissable. Yes, you can argue that it can be manipulated, but you could do this in the old Xerox days, too. I know of cases where people went to small claims with web print outs and won based on the printout. The point is that we're talking small claims court here, not first degree murder trial.
2) There's some rule somewhere that vendors are required to honor the advertised price, unless it is clearly a misprint that the buyer is trying to take advantage of without good faith or if they have some provision in the advertisement for mispricing (Best Buy, for example, says that price corrections are posted at the store). This free wheels thing falls under the implausible category.

"1)" works in your favor, but "2)" works in the vendor's favor.
