Talking 3,218.4 miles to dinner at Chili's last Friday!

Well, not really. But that's how many miles we put on my car from Davenport and back, starting on the 14th and getting back last night around 6pm. Christine had many interviews: one near Pittsburgh, two in CT, one in Salem, NH and one in Lewiston, ME.
Long story short, the PA one was decent but won't happen, the two in CT were a joke, Lewiston wasn't as good as she'd hoped.
Salem was a hit. We're praying that the doctor will want Christine over the second interviewee she's talking to this week.
It'd be perfect. Growing up there, I certainly know the area.
We wouldn't stay forever probably, but then again it's only an Associateship for a year or two. I'd ideally like to live halfway between Salem and Dover/Portsmouth.

Then again, I had an interview in Lebanon, NH. Oy what a mess...
71 applicants for the same job but I phone interviewed the VP of the company, he said I could come in and talk anyway. I got interviewed by a panel of SIX people! Yikes. Might want to let me know that a bit ahead of time. heh

Anyway, that's it. 3,218.4 miles round trip. Got my Nokians on while I was at my Dad's last Friday, too. Shortly before meeting the Chili's crew for dinner.

Brian Batty, Kris, Igg, Justin and everyone else... thanks for the meet-up. That was cool. It was Christine's second NESIC experience, her first semi-major one, I guess. (Her first was ice cream with Kris and Fishy, a year or so ago.) Although I dunno fellas, we came a long way for that Chili's, might've been cooler to let US sit at the big table...

Thanks Brian. Christine really did have fun, and she said she thought you were muy cool.

She liked your V5 seats, too. Natch.
Now all I have to do is convince her that they're truly a good decision.

Although, she's a chiropractor, so if I can find a way to afford them, the better ergonomics should be an easy sell.

Speakin' of which, I'll be married to a Doctor in two days. Shweet.

Yes indeed, very cool to chat with you.

And of course I just realized I called you "Justin" in my original post. I'm such a retard sometimes.
