incorporating tuna canyon to the run would be a really cool consideration because it is a one way canyon downhill that is a sick ride without oncoming traffic to bother you

Default ok to run?

I used to run a Stealth twin turbo, it died. I have replaced it with a 2002 Nissan Maxima, 6 speed manual tranny. Ok to join you guys with the Nissan?? With 255 HP and 260 lbs torque, it goes pretty good. Not a Subie, but a rare car with the 6 speed. If you want, I can lead a group down Tuna Canyon, have done that before. Route is Topanga to Mulholland to Old Topanga to Fernwood Pacific to Tuna, then down to PCH. Then up PCH to either Encinal, Decker or Yerba Buena. Then across to Mulholland and down to the Snake, then home. I would vote for Yerba Buena, great view at the top, and a fun road. A little rough and bumpy, but worth it.

Default start location

With this many people, perhaps the start at McDonalds at Valley Circle and the 101 Freeway will work better, lots more room. Also, ending at Neptune's Net would be nice, but it will be crowded, little or no parking available. Most locations on PCH are that way on a summer Saturday. Better off at a fast food place along the 101 freeway somewhere. Maybe find an In 'N Out.

seems like you know what you are talking about, would you like to lead the group into the canyon? If you would like I can let you take the lead. And yes you can come along in the nissan, why not? As far as changing the meetup spot, i dont know about that because a lot of people already are planning to meet at the current spot.

Default 7-12-14 run

The reason I suggested the McDonalds is that prior Malibu runs started there, and there is lots more room for cars. July 12 is far enough away that there is plenty of time for people to change locations, and the new location is not far from the old one, only two ramps further west.

I would be happy to lead the run in my Nissan, I will be there. Look forward to meeting up with my Subie friends again.

just a note this is a not a race but a cruise, and also we have a lot of people that will come so we need to travel at a decent pace so no one gets lost

I'm definitely interested, but mulholland isn't a very long street. It would be cool to head east on mulholland from the pch and then continue onto latuna(not familiar with this) or whatever other road.
