Question Stage 2 Utec datalogging

This was my first attempt at datalogging. I'm using a Stage 2 map with an uppipe and Samco intercooler hoses.

It looks like I can up the boost a little bit. It's running rich. The only time it runs lean is right after I shift, but there's no knocking.
I was hoping that someone might have some comments or advice.

Thanks,
Chris

1) You need to calibrate your maximum tps %
edit maps - tuner constants (ithink) Maximum tps %- it probably say 4.0 right now change the value to 3.9 and see what happens.

2) The stage II map is set rich so that it keeps it safe when people get boost happy.. Part of your really rich problem is that you are only running 14.1 psi when stage ii is tuned for about 16.5 - 17 psi... I wouldn't go much more than that on the stocker.

Be easy.... Good Luck and Have fun..

You should be able to increase the boost to 16-16.5 peak in 4th gear. You can do this by increasing the boost control duty cycle in the Boost map. For my information, did you install the ABC? What altitude are you at?

The factory o2 sensor can not read richer than 12:1. If it is richer than that, the display reads "rich". We aim for ~10.8:1 AFR on pump gas so unless you have an accurate wideband air:fuel meter, I'd leave the fuel alone.

Assuming your running 93 Octane gas, your timing is likely fine as it is. If you are running less than 93 Octane gas you may need to reduce ignition timing under high loads a degree or 2 to avoid detonation.

Thanks for the responses.

I am using the ABC, but it is turned all the way in the "-" direction. I am at sea level or close to it. Are the numbers I am looking at an accurate representation of the boost levels, or should I rely on my boost gauge?

I guess I'll up the boost a bit, and see how that affects the other numbers before I try anything else.

It's definately runing richer than stock and richer than it ran with the Unichip. I never had the "soot" buildup on my exhaust like I do now.

Thanks,
Chris

Do I need to slow my shifts down a bit, I only get 3 reads under the ECU before the UTEC takes over again where as he gets 6-7. i just got mine today and I'm logging in order from left to right: RPM : TPS : MAP PSI : Load Site? : Timing : a/f : Knock count . What logging option am I in, I'm guessing just the regular logging option and what one should I be in? I know these are simple questions sorry for the ignorance.-James
