Default HKS Piggy Back ECU's

I'm wondering if anybody has any experience with their piggy back systems, especially the HKS FCD, HKS SUPER AFR, the EVC, or EVC-IV and the Type 1 turbo timer.

Just any comments about how these component run in a WRX,

Thanks

I have the type 1 Turbo timer. Awesome is the word, but hey it's no great feat of nature, seen one seen em all. Want to purchase the EVC 5, anyone heard anything on this yet?.

The main interest is in the fuel cut defender and whether or not something along the lines is required if I'm upgrading the turbo to a Greddy with the universal blow off valve and raising the boost that's all.

Default AFR

I am using the AFR though not in a WRX it's in my MY97 L-Turbo and I can tell you it's an easy unit to use and works quite well for my needs. The features of it allow for me to run my BOV to atmosphere without the run rich problem and there for stumble seen on stock cars that run a BOV to atmosphere. It also allows for idle richness to be adjusted witch helps with cold starts when using larger injectors with stock ECU. Hope this helps.
