Default Help My WRX wont start!

Well I was running late for my hockey game tonight and I went to start my car and...it wouldn' start....there is some sort of liquid leaking from a tube right on top of the engine, and to the left of the alternator...

there is a sound as though there is air leak also because you can hear air being leaked out.

Any ideas what it could be? My guess is the change in the air temperature cause one of the sealants to crack result in a failure to start... I am not very good with cars so I just want a second opinon...

Car is still under warrenty so I should be getting a free tow and fix...i hope anyway...

Sorry, I have no idea what the answer is. Just call the free roadside assistance number and have the dealer fix it.

If it's the copper hose that you suspect is leaking, that's the power steering hose. It should have NO effect on starting.

Looks like you're pointing to the hose that connects to the FPR, fuel pressure regulator. I would call the roadside assistance number and have the dealer fix it.

and second apparently they said theing was flooded. They think i put to much gas in the tank when i pumped it last b4 it wouldn t start...but I know I didnt-they said though that it is the only explanation they had for it not starting...no problems in the code no nothing...interesting...

Thanks for trying to help though and for pointing me in the right direction...except drover of course...

This is how it works around here:

If people have an answer to your question, they'll give it to you. As you can tell by looking at most any topic in this section, people will gladly help out.

If people don't know the answer to your question, they won't answer. We're not all going to sign on and say "gosh, I don't know." It's a waste of our time and yours and a waste of system resources. So if you don't get an answer, it's not because we're all dicks, it's because we don't know. So if you cop an attitude like you're entitled to an answer, don't be surprised if you get some attitude back.

Have a Nice Day?

I posted here because people are more knowledgeable then I and I not only wanted to know what was wrong with my car but if others had the same problem, they could make a more informed decision if they happened upon this thread...I feel I have the right to be angry...so would any1else who felt they were being ignored...also I d like to point out that no one else seemed to go down the same road as you did. The other club member were actually constructive instead of wasting more "system resources", as you put it, in order to let me know that I am a jerk for feeling angry because I felt I was being ignored which when you have 70 some views and no response it sure seems like it.

I would have appreciated a response like your last one rather than a FU message.

Their is a lot of room for miscommunication on these boards I know- this is one of them... I hope I've made it more clear how I feel and I hope you don't take this as a hostile response because it's not it's an explanation.

But I still hate you
