Question Highest HP Reliably ran with LINK ECU

Im wondering, many say the link is prohibited at the HP levels it can safely run, so whats the limit? Whos pushed the envelope?
What stops it from doing so?
thanks

sweet, but is the WRX's ignition better than the 2.5s?
Can I run an MSD with the LINK? or use a ignitor and fire single coils?

I have seen my power ID hit 310 to the wheels no problem on stock internals of a 2.5 engine. Of course I was running 5 gallons of 100 octane and the rest was 91 octane. I was running about 12 PSI at that point. On pure 91 octane on 10 PSI I am running about 280 Whp.

As for max power I think the max PSI you can push on stock internals is around 16-17PSI with a compression of 9.7:1. Once you start going above that things start breaking. 16 PSI with all 100 octane, I bet you could get near 400 Whp on stock internals. Of course the tranny is the problem now.

Of course if you have a built up engine there is a whole lot more power you can pull out of it.

Not really sure who is saying the Link ECU has Horse Power Limits? As I don't know anyone that has hit it. In fact I know of one person who has put in 770cc injectors in there WRX STi and has the Link ECU running them. How much power do you think this guy is running?

There is a lot of hear-say out there about the Link. People have been bashing on them time and time again. I rarely hear anyone complain about the any other programmable ECU's or even piggy backs. So why is it that everyone needs to hate on the Link?Usually the reason for this is because Brand X costs more or can not even compete with the Link System. So bash it to death, that way we can sell more...

I have had nothing but success with the Link and every car tuned. Every HP limit I have hit is because of something in the car. Wether it be injectors, fuel pump, engine, cams, Turbo, boost, etc... The Link has never hit it's limit and I don't know of anyone that has hit the limit with it. Probably because there is none.
