225/60-16 is too tall and will rub ... use a 225/50-16 size

Should not be a problem if you are driving an Outback.

Have a Nice Day? I meant 225/50/16...Sorry

Want to run this set-up on my WRX ,year round and living in Newengland I thought it would be a good compromise.

Thanks Bill

1. It'd help if you tell us what kind of car you have!

2. 225/50R16 will fit all OEM wheels. However, they will bulge a little out of WRX 6.5" wheels, and because of the width difference between the wheel and tire, you may not get as much benefit of going to 225 from 205, compared to if you have a 7" wheel.

3. Your snow traction will suffer with 225 tires.

4. You may have some rub in the rear, if yours is anything BUT a WRX sedan with 225 tires. Again, just a "may", as it depends on the tire profile, load, alignment, and driving style.
