Im stuck deciding on what offset xxr 530's to put on my 02 wrx wagon which would poke out further 17x8.25 +35 or 17x8.25+25

neither one of those is going to be very friendly to a fitment newbie such as yourself.

you should probably be looking at something in the 40+ range and no wider than 8".
