i know this thing has been talk about too much.
but my problem is. i dont have the unit where this is spliced. i was just wondering what wire is the grey wire? so i can cut the wire thats in my alarm. for some reason my factory alarm unit is a autolock or something like that, but it isnt a subaru part. please figure out the grey wire. thanks tony.

The grey wire does not come from the security system. It comes from the e-brake - it's off the top right in the pic there. Pull back the carpet between the console and the passenger seat, and you'll find the grey wire running from the base of the e-brake.

anyone wired one of these on their STi? Preferably '06. The pin #'s that I'm getting aren't matching up w/ what's on the terminals. and i'm not about to start splicing into wires I'm not sure about. I'm also having difficulty getting to the ebrake wire. I'm sure this thing has been discussed but the search function isn't any help. All i find is arguing. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
