looking for supercharger for 2.5RS in Vancouver

I'm looking for a supercharger for my 2.5RS. I asked lots of shops and looked at many websites. Not much information i got. So, anyone heard about peaple used supercharger on their RS. If yes, please tell me how and where?

Anyways, what kind of RS? GC8 or New Age? Have you tried RevLab?

I've been looking for info on a supercharger setup (not turbo) every since I broke in my 2.5rs.
There was a company called Rimmer but they went out of busniess. This guy mentioned above (DNT) , is still developing a system. He is close, appearently. Once you email him you'll be put on his email list which will keep you up to date.

Thats all I've been able to find. If you find more, please post.

That's quite a risk. Putting in a supercharger on a 02? Why not wait until the warranty is over then fool around because once you put the supercharger in, there goes your warranty.

The plan is to upgrade the handeling and protection(wheels, suspension under armor, roll cage? ...) over the next 5 years then go for broke on a power package of some kind. Someday this will be my "wannabe rally car racer" car. Who knows I might even race it. As for now I'm still conserned about Auto-X because of the high reving..... I know, I know it doesn't hurt the car. (Yes I have been told this.

So yeah, nothing major until the car is paid off and the warrenty has expired.

why a supercharger ?why not a turbo or twin turbo? ,there is a lot more turbo products for these cars , but I would like to know about the supercharger thats sounds cool, I also want to a major power upgrade

Pgymy? What's your response?

Mine is:
-Constant power gain since the supercahger is powered by the drive wheel. Meaning: zero lag.
-Sound
- I've been told they run cooler too. No sure on that one.

- Also been told they are better (more useful) for lower PSI applications. Unlike 2.0 WRX...The 2.5L engine is not designed for forced induction so its more likely to explode. I can be up graded but Cobb Tuning (for example) is charging almost $5000 us to do that.

Maybe I'll wake up in buy an STI in 5 years time.

The only bad side I see towards a supercharger vs. turbocharger is the fact that with a turbo'd car, you can continue to modify it (eg. bigger turbo) while with a supercharger, once you put it on, its done. However, supercharging a RS is my dream in 4-5 years too!

You can change pulley sizes and get larger super chargers as well.
