fwiw: I have my re92's with about 1/3 tread left. I did auto-x on them, but if 1/3 tread is what matches with the rest of yours. I intend on basically junking all 4 of my re92's in january, so if anyone wants them then, I'll sell em for dirty dirt cheap.

its not the treadware i am worried about with autocrossed tires...its the sidewalls...they got shi!!y weak sidewalls and when autocrossing, they deffinately roll over quite a bit..i know..i seen remember seeing ashton's tires after autocrossing..i couldnt really use them...

They do roll over, but the sidewall is fine. So far I have no bulges or any irregularities, and I'm not worried about it either

Take the auto-x tires, as a slightly beat up sidewall, beats the donut hands down if that is what you are riding on.

Besides, the boys don't drive that hard at auto-x anyways.

They shouldn't be rolling over that much in autox. You will see accelerated wear on the shoulder, but if the pressures were high enough, the sidewall itself will be fine.

Not with the RE92's, or else we wouldn't be here to tell the story

Nick, i saw your battered car on robson the other day..

last time i needed an old RE92 i just went to a bunch of tire shops that had them used and lyin around.. got a good deal.. think i paid 30 bux for one or something like that. should be an easy tire to find. good luck!
