Question from an American

I understand that you guys get heated mirrors on your WRXs. Do you know if this is an option, or standard? Also, do your local parts suppliers stock parts to convert non-heated to heated mirrors? Thanks- Jim

I'm pretty sure it's standard. It was standard on my lowly TS.

I don't know about parts availability, but since it's standard, I seems unlikely.

We get heated seats and mirrors on the Canadian cars. It's cold up here and much appreciated. I know that in my area there's 2 WRXs in parts yards.. So you could just get some used mirrors and re-paint to match?

They turn on with the rear defroster. I didn't know my car came with them either, it's not mentioned anywhere in the paperwork. I only found out when I drove into the underground parking at work, some days it's so humid that all my windows fog up as soon as drive in. As usual, my rear window fogged up, so I hit the rear defroster switch. Imagine my surprise when lines appear on my fogged up mirrors. Thery were totally clear in about 10 seconds.
