tt wiring question

what's the dark green wire w/black stripe on the keyless entry and the grey wire on the security system on the wrx use for?

every tt install thread i've read told you to cut these.....what the heck are we cutting into and splicing into?

Just cut the two wires, make sure they don't ever touch again, and wrap them back together. This will enable your tt to work and can arm the car while the car is running.

danx, but i was looking for what these two wires do.......already read through like a million threads, but nothing....no seem to know what these two wires do.....guess i-club is stumped again
