Heated Side Mirrors anyone?

Does anyone know how to do that? I really need one set especially since my car parks outside 24/7 with the frozen side mirrors

I have this as a standard option on my 03 Impreza....

The saleman told me that it was standard on the more exp. options, but I was totally stocked to find that as I pressed the defrost button for the back window the other morning the mirrors melted and defrosted.

Yeah that would be nice. I wonder if they make any solution that keeps the mirrors clear?

It's standard on all 2002 Imprezas already

And yes, I like that option. Now if they only offered heated seats on the RS... then I wouldn't mind leaving my car outside and open my garage for other functions

do the outbacks have heated mirrors?

Considering my TS does, I'd be surprised if the outbacks didn't. Then again, I wouldn't put anything like that past SOC.

hahaha!!! like I don't have enough projects on the go

humm.. You would just need a low resistance wire fixed to the surface of the mirror backing. That would be the hard part... how to take apart the mirror assembly and mount the wire to it. The electronics involved is akin to toaster ovens
