Was 'Swingers' A Good Movie???

The Wayne Gretzky scene was classic. But my favorite was that caravan. That was hilarious.

Doug Liman is a great director. Also love his "Go", and I'm waiting for "Bourne Identity" to come out on DVD.

I agree completely. It's totally overrated. I don't see how anyone can think that Vince Vaughn is cool. I do like Jon Faverau, though.
That phrase 'you're so money' rates very high on my list along with crying babies, traffic jams, and ingrown toenails.

(Actually I tend to agree that it is just kinda okay, but I couldn't believe that nobody made a 'money' joke yet. It was 'the comic imperitive' that I make a 'money' joke.)

Now the English Patient...THAT was a GREAT film. I'm not the only one who thinks so. It received huge amounts of international critical acclaim. I definitely know that the same can't be said for the likes of....Swingers.

BUT..

comparing Swingers with The English Patient is like comparing apples with oranges. Yes, they are both films....but VERY different films.

And to note: if you could not appreciate the epic that was the English Patient, I feel strongly that you do not have the intellectual or emotional capacity to understand such a story. That is sad. And for making that comment...you are therefore DUMB.

Also, I could care less about critical acclaim. I go to the movies to be entertained.

It takes quite an intellectual to call someone dumb because their opinions differ from yours. I just can't compete.
