Default 1/4 mile registry for the 4EAT....

....if there isn't a 1/4 mile registry for the 4EAT, i'd like to start it. i'll publish it on the web as soon as people start posting their times here. pls. include all mods, any engine rebuilds?, TC upgrade?, nitrous?, WRX or RS? sponsored by shop?

pls. give name of driver/owner, drag strip, E.T., trap speed, 60', time and date.

i know there was a post a few months back about 4EAT times. i will grab some of those, and if you see your times there and have done better, pls. let me know. or if you don't want to share your results, let me know and i will take it off.

Yes, I did post back on 10/24/02 and also went back on 10/30/02 and won 1st Place in the eliminations. They run on Weds Nights and this Weds is the last for the this year. Like a crack-head on crack, I can't stay away. Hoping for 12's . After this last run, I'm going to retire for the season as well.

New (2nd) turbokit put on, blew headgasket (my fault....turbokit is fine) and car has been in this 'stupid' shop for 12 weeks as of Tuesday. It's done but they can't figure out why my fuel pressure gauge is reading zero and want me to look at it. **** them! Need to get my car back to the shop that installed it...which is 2hrs away. *sigh* New kit has bigger/better turbo, bigger intercooler and 440cc injectors in garage (vs my stock injectors on this run).

If you are counting old school 4EAT's.

Run was very lean at 50hp shot and I 'let off' the last part of the run. Someone is going to help me with the fuel issues with a device they have for an XT6. *Should've gotten a wet nitrous kit*. Custom non-fitting turbokit/intercooler is in garage waiting for the wagon to come out of the shop.

finally, some more activity on this topic.....i was starting to think that 4EATers either didn't care or were too ashamed to post about their times.

so far, i have....

1. kevin thomas - 13.032
2. padrewrx - 13.250
3. wagonrx - 13.430
4. riftswrx - 13.605

i think rifts ran a 13.0s but i haven't gotten any details on it (i'll ask him one of these days) also, no info from RobPA, who i guess posts on clubwrx now.

i will be taking any Subaru 4EAT car into the registry.

baguioboy - is diamond star specialties a track? i would only like to add track times because it involves weather conditions. dynos are indoor and unaffected by weather. good times tho.

RobPA ran a 12.98 the last I heard from him. I missed last Weds race but will try this Weds to see how she runs with the full Stage 2.

I ran a best 15.72 @92.33 MPH. I only have a cat back exhaust. I was taking it very easy off the line. I had a best 2.73 60' (how embarassing) I did not want to break anything. I did not care about my times, I was bracket racing and came in 2nd place and won $200 thanks to the consistancy of the 4EAT.

Id give you mine, except I haven't hit the track and would be bench racing. And we all know how we feel about bench racers in the Proven Power Bragging section

Hello Jason,

Did you ever make that 4EAT 1/4 mile page like you were planning on doing?

My best official 1/4 mile time: 12.156 @ 111.36 MPH no NOS, with the old EJ20.
Just for the record, the same night that my EJ20 went bye bye, we did 11.84@114.00 mph with a 25 shot NOS to spool turbo faster, the reason that I do not call this official is because printer was not working at the drag strip and we did not tape that run.
Too bad that my wagon is gone now and with the EJ25 block that maybe was a good setup to mid 11`s. Well now with the STI I have to start thinking 10`ssssssssss. Street setup with 14 PSI already is in to 11`s. LOL

Here is my list if mods before I sold the car:

- Ultimate Racing Custom Spec (Stage V) Garrett T3/T04E Twin Ball-Bearing Turbocharger
- Ultimate Racing Cold Air Intake Pipe with K&N Filter
- Ultimate Racing 3" Stainless Steel Downpipe for Garrett Turbocharger
- Ultimate Racing Up-Pipe for Garrett Turbocharger
- HKS Racing External Wastegate
- Ultimate Racing 785cc Fuel Injectors
- Walbro 255lph High-Pressure In-Tank Fuel Pump
- Greddy E-01
- EcuTek ECU Remapping
- Ultimate Racing Larger Top Mount Intercooler
- Stainless Steel Brake Lines front and rear
- 25/50 shot NOS Wet System
- Remote bottle opener
- NOS bottle warmer
- 4 Piston Subaru front Brake Kit
- NOS window Switch
- Pro Torque High Performance Torque Converter
- Levelten Valve body
- Ultimate Racing 3" Stainless Steel Cat-Back Exhaust System
- High Temperature Thermal Wrapping
- Tranny Temp and NOS PSI Gauges
- B&M Racing transmission cooler
- STI engine mounts
- Custom STi Hood Scoop
- US-Spec STI 2.5 S-block
- 3 Angle valve work done by UR
- UR Oil catch can
- HKS BOV
- LHD Master Cylinder Brake Bracket
- Zerosports Thermostat

Final official run at a sanctioned event (Midwest shootout) was:

12.96 @ 106.19MPH
60' was 1.850 (EASY launch)

Some where I have the timeslip in the garage, buried under 200 lbs of parts from the motor .

That was ProjectWRX v. III

2.2 stroker
SR40
TXS FMIC and turboback
UR up-pipe
Running 100 for det protection
UTEC tuned by moi
Level 10 Valve body
Protorque S/S converter
That was ~280WHP.

Unofficially, I had an easy mid to low 12's for the east coast shootout at 367WHP . Then we A: never ran B: blew up on the way home.

v. IV should be promising for the midwest shootout this year.
