Exclamation Gravity hill (805 south offramp sorrento)

So shoot...i found it on accident. Missed my Carmel Valley exit so i had to turn around. At the bottom of the sorrento offramp i let off the brake to roll forward, but i rolled backward! I was thinking "what the??!!...oh SH%$ Gravity hill!....AHHHH the children! the children are pushing me!! AHHHH!" Took a half a second to realize where i was. SPOOKY!! Anyone know what's the deal with gravity hill?? I want to go back with a water bottle...

Yeah...
I have heard the story of Gravity Hill

A school bus ran off the hill and lots kids get killed
So now if you are on the hill going dowwhill, let the break go the car will actually go backward (Which is going up??!!)
The ghost of children are pushing your car uphill

I also heard that if you put baby powder on your hood, you will actually seening hand prints

You can give it a try next time

if you look at the ramp and look at the angle of Sorrento Valley Rd., since Sorrento Valley is angled up from the ramp, you'll think you're still going down hill from the ramp :-p

totally freaked me out first time it happened to me... but i live in MM, so I get on that offramp quite a bit now

There's a place like this located in the San Fernando Valley. It's also called Gravity Hill except there's more scary things to it like a mental institute located next to it.. Never been there, hope I won't

Theres two ways to get there, a long and windy way, or a short and boring way. I personally like taking the long way especially at night because it more driver intensive and creepier. It may help to go with someone who know where it exactly is or you'll miss it.

The long way starts near the 210 and 118 interchange. Just head east on Paxton St. then left (north) on Lopez Canyon. Lopez Canyon turns into Kagel Canyon. The Gravity hill part is past Glen Haven Memorial park. Its a small incline right next to a Pet Cemetary Gate on Kagel Canyon. Make sure that your south facing. Just put it on neutral and let it roll.

The short: Head north-east on Terra Bella from Foothill blvd. Make a right on Fenton then Left on Kagel Canyon.

there are also ones in bakersfield and off the 126....

nothing new or special

the ORIGINAL and factual gravity hill is located in florida...this one isnt an optical illusion like the rest...where the actual incident occured...scientists have gone out there but cant explain is because you actually DO roll uphill....

very weird...

discovery channel ownz.
