Default Will Endless or Carbotech pads fit StopTech brake kit?

I was wondering if I could use Endless NA-Ys or Carbotech Panther pads with a StopTech brake system? Will the pads fit the 4-piston calipers? Thanks.

I believe the Stoptech kit uses the same shape as one of the Porsche pads, if someone here doesn't pipe up with it (I'm sure someone will), then email Stoptech and ask them which years of which models are common. I understood this was one of the advantages of the Stoptech kit, reasonably priced pads because they are common with other high performance applications.

Regardless, if you call Carbotech, you'll find out that they will take a set of used pads, de-bond the leftover pad and use the old backing plate for their compounds. So in any event you can definitely use Carbotech pads if you want.

Which Porsche pad does it use? I can look it up. I think Endless makes most for the brembo calipers which should work.

I am not 100% sure of the number (I'm at home, not at work), but I am nearly 100% sure we have pads for that. And I think you're right, it's a Porsche pad.

Jake,

If you haven't already checked out the Stoptech website, here you go:

www.stoptech.com/faq/data/faq19.html

The FMSI number is D372. I know the guy at Carbotech is really helpful.

Question

Hi Matt, is there any other pad in your lineup that would not stain the rotors like the panthers but brake just as good?

I have the panthers and they are staining teh hell out of the clear coat on the rim. like little black flakes!

Thanks,
Leo

Hey Leo, I responded to you in this thread: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ight=Carbotech

You're the only person I've talked to that has had any wheel finish issues with our Panther pads.

Replied!

Auto Plaza here in PR has had the same results as their owner and mechanic had told me about this when they sold them to me as the OEM 4pots were sold out
