Default Help! Noisy idle after Exedy Clutch/Flywheel install

I've had my Exedy Clutch/Flywheel installed for over a month, reaching over 2000 miles by now. At the first day, I notice how my engine idles kinda noisely, like an old diesel car with that constant "click click click click ...".Whenever the clutch is disengaged, the clicks lessens a great deal to almost nothing. Let the clutch back up again, it clicks away again

I initially thought the clutch/FW needed to be broken in but after a good 2000 miles, I doubt it's that.

I took it back to the dealership that installed it. Not surprisingly, they were reluctant to pull the tranny out and thus granted me that it's ok. While the dealership is very highly regarded among Subaru owners in the area, I still have some doubts as to whether this clicking noise is healthy.

what do you think?

IIRC Someone in the MWIC forum was having a similar problem. Ended up being a broken Diaphram or something. Not to freak you out, but you might want to check it out. (now only if I could remember who....)

Very likely it is a bad TO bearing..especially if it is there when teh clutch is disengaged, and goes away on engagement.

Thanks Adam,
That's what I suspected ... I'll take it back to the dealers and see.
