Does anyone know if the 2003 WRX has a different/stronger tranny than a 2002? Please respond if you know anything.

Thanks

Pete

I am the proud owner of a 2003. Don't believe the transmission is any different.

2003 has a different slave cylinder arrangement. Sort of a limiter to limit the speed at which the clutch comes up.

no... same thing... different clutch set up like said. As long as you treat your tranny with respect and don't push over 280 lbs you will be fine. 280 is about all your engine is worth on pump gas anyway.
