Does anyone know who does work on old subaurus?

My daughter's 1986 GL 2WD automatic transmission is needing work. Does anyone know of a shop that does honest work and knows subys. in the DFW area. Also reasonable in price too. Thanks for any help.

I will help you on your car what do you need to do with it I use to work for mazda.

The transmission will not shift out low unless I manually put into 2 and then when you shift back to drive for third, motor just revs as if it is in neutral. So i need a rebuild or swap I guess, uless you know of something that will fix these simptoms. I replace the vacuum modultor and it quit smoking trans fluid but did not cure transmission.
