Ohh thats the grill I want. But anyway they still make those model wagons in japan or whereever its from? Cause that looks like a 97-99 legacy wagon.

Default Hey Ben

That grille is messing with me. It is extending a pretty good way below the line of the lights almost like a USDM GT grille. I thought all the JDM grilles pretty much ended at the line at the bottom of the lights.

Default nevermind

I think I've got it sorted. Thats still not as far down as the USDM grilles.

I see what you're saying, but, could it be the low angle in the ad? Or the color differences?

Default Hmmm

The pic you have there piker28 is of a BE or BH(USDM 2000+ or JDM 99+.) Thats an entirely different run of Legacys. The JDM and USDM versions of those grilles have the same physical dimensions(interchangeable.)

I hope I didnt cause any confusion. Lemme explain. The JDM Legacy BD/BG GT grilles are shorter than the USDM BD/BG grilles. I usually would estimate it by the grille ending approximately even with the base of the headlights. The USDM Legacy GTs(except 95) and all 98-99 BD/Gs use the taller grilles that kinda extend down into the bumper a bit. That pic was confusing me because of the angle the original was shot at and then the angle the pic of the original was shot at. Its definitely the shorter JDM grille.

Sorry for any confusion

Doesn't Subaru realize how many more cars they would have sold if J-Lo did our ads in the USA instead of Paul Hogan?

Lots of big-name screen actors do ads, in Japan, that they won't do, here. They get paid an incredible amount of money, and the don't lose their 'star' image, in the US.
