Default Paint Brake Calipers Red or Blue?

Should I paint my brake calipers red or blue (which may not match rally blue exactly, though)? Another color? What do you guys think?

Yellow is a hot color. High end Porsches use yellow calipers.

Or you could do STi gold?

I do like the body color idea the best though

Because painted calipers look nicer than non - painted calipers.

Because he wants painted calipers, he's a "ricer" and should buy a honda. give me a brake (yes, it's a pun) Go pick on someone else. Why do you care anyways.

Costs just a little more.

I like black calipers, because they're clean, but the gold would look cool.

I think it's interesting that some people think painted calipers are r*ce. As Frederf nicely pointed out, many high end Porsches come with Calipers that are red or yellow, and I would hardly consider a Porsche to be r*ce. Either way, I appreciate everyone's feedback and thanks for posting.

He's saying that upgrading the looks of your calipers without upgrading their functionality is r*ce. And he has a good point.

It all depends on what color scheme you are going with your car. Like my car is blue and the seats are blk. So the colors I got for is light blue, dark blue and black. I think you should go blue.

Go ahead and paint your calipers. We all know how crappy the stock calipers start to look over time once that nice green coating starts to wear off. But unless you have big brembos or APs, please paint them black. Bright red single/duel pot sliding calipers don't impress anyone and just convey an image of "rice"

Mine are painted black.

Nobody ever notices, which is what I wanted.

Do what you think looks good.

My vote: either leave 'em black, or make 'em WR Blue. If you can find brake paint that matches WR Blue I'm sure it would look smooth.

Anybody have a picture of a WRX with painted stock calipers? I'd be interested in seeing if mr2guru is right about this or not. (I've considered doing this myself.) When I painted the calipers on my old MR2 red, they just looked like aftermarket calipers...
