Default New and improved front end! sti replica grill and sti lights!

Well I finally blew some money and made the front of my car all purdy. The rest is to come after winter. Yes the lights are LHD, don't PM me on how I got them, there are several group buys for them. The grill is the replica sti grill from http://www.gtspec.com , $85 shipped I believe.

This stuff really makes my front end bad ass, and you really cant see through the grill that much. Suh-weet. Questions? Comments?

Very nice!

Is there a provision in the replica grill to mount an emblem? (like the star cluster or 'i')

Richard...

No, there isn't. I'm planning to get a badge about 1 cm by 8 cm to put in the upper right hand corner, much like the audi quattro badge.

The grill looks like it doesn't quite fit right on the driver's side. Is it just the pic or is there really a small gap on that side? Other than that, I'd slap a badge on there and it'd look great

I paid $100 to get it painted, but it was done by some really good people and the match is perfect. As for fitment I noticed the gap too but it's pretty good for a replica, and a little pushing and prodding could probably get it in perfect.

Around the headlights look slightly different than on the STi grill. I think it looks more aggressive without the center emblem

they are different, the grill is more like the zerosports grill without the holes. I like it more, more badass.

I dont think it should be stated as STI replica grill, in my opinion it looked more like liberal grill to me http://www.vividracing.com/index.php
I think it looked sweet, but if I were to get this grill, I would definitely get a front lip. I wish I have unlimited supplies of $$$$

Yup, definitely like the liberal grill which is more pointed, but the liberal grill pulls more towards the front bumper by 0.5". My friend has the liberal and I have the Sti replica (quasi-liberal).
