How about picking up some sidemarkers, a bumper, and some taillights.

Jamie,

'round Vancouver there aren't any *must do* things, with that being said, you must take a drive up to whistler. I would suggest maybe spending an evening up there, there are some great restaurants and good night life. Its a fun ski village, although its not too rockin' right now, just coz the season hasn't started, but there are some hardcores up there who party no matter what the season.

Vancouver Island is great, if you are looking for nice sleepy, mellow weekend you can't go wrong with Victoria or even Nanaimo.

If you plan to stick around vancouver, it all really depends on what you're up for. If you're looking for good eats, well then, you have come to the right city, if you're looking party and go clubbing, stay in seattle.

If you do a search in here(this forum) there are plenty of posts on what to do.

Hope you enjoy your time up here.

Which one? Here's a list of the car ferries that go to Victoria:
Vancouver to Victoria
Anacortes to Victora
Port Angeles to Victoria

Jamie - I'd say drive up to Whistler and stay there overnite. You'll love the drive if you haven't gone up there before. Nice and twisty!

Also, I suggest going for a walk around one of the many trails out in Whistler. Very nice, and relaxing! There are people around, but it won't be sooo crowded that you'll feel xenophobic.

The ferry you want to take to go to Vancouver Island/Victora is from the Tsawassan ferry terminal, which is close to the Peace Arch border.

Oh yah, and if you want to meet up with some of us and enjoy a glass of BBT, just let us know!

Enjoy your stay!

LaterZ!
Darren!!

Not sure but this might be the link you want...

http://www.bcferries.bc.ca/

If you're on the Island you gotta go see "Cathedral Grove." BIG douglas fir trees, if you like that kinda thing. And the town of Tofino is a GREAT getaway. Beautiful coastal town. Getting there is a crazy drive though; mountains on one side, cliffs into the ocean on the other. And logging trucks. Lots of logging trucks...

Don't know much about lighthouses though... Anybody else?

Have fun!
