Question How much HP can a stock WRX hold

Ok so maybe this subject will attract the right answer. How much HP can a stock WRX Manual take WITHOUT tranny, engine, clutch etc mods? If mods are needed to get real HP out of the car, what needs to be done? For example, I own a 2K VW Golf and it can handle about 200-220 HP without major mods, with the exception of the crappy clutch (Yes this is a bit of a repost but I really would like some kind of an answer)

Default Answer! Maybe, hah.....

Hey,
I'll give you my 2 cents.... I have about 270 to the wheels in my WRX (minimum, hasn't been dynoed). I have a Stage 2 upgrade, including full catback exhaust 3inch, downpipe 4 inch, up-pipe, header, oil catch can, intake, boost control, uni-chip, etc... So far, the only hting that I am going to do as a precaution is out different, better motor and tranny mounts on. After that, I'll probly do the springs that could support more torque and power. However, the clutch, tranny, etc. are holding up with no problems, and that is with having 40,000 miles on it already. Hope this was a help. Msg me with any other questions...

Tom
