Does anyone have any chipping/cracking problems from rocks on their OEM skirts? A lot of people tell me that the factory skirts aren't a good idea to paint because of easy chipping/cracking of the paint. And how did you have your skirts painted (primer, how many coats of paint etc...)?

Thanks

i havent had any problems with the side skirts. Im sure you will end up getting a few rock chips under the skirts..but it wouldnt even be noticable unless you go under the car..I love 'em..mine were bought from the dealer, not painted..i just sold my stock skirts on ebay..im taking it to the post office now!

I got my side skirts painted from a local auto body shop. Just make sure that when they get painted that the shop uses/adds flex additive in the paint. The flex additive will make the paint stick to the side skirts.

My springs dropped 1.8" in the rear and front. They are from Sprint. These springs are one of the best ive sat on before..they lower the car and feel just like the stock ones. not too bouncy, not to hard. I should be getting my rims within 1 week from now..maybe it'll look even better then.
