Default FS: MRT turboback system

I have a MRT turboback 3" exhaust system for sale. Used for about 3 months old ( I don't drive my car often at all so the condition of this system is still in great shape...some of the BAIC members who know me can back me up on this.. )

The downpipe is bellmouth design w/ a high flo cat. The muffler is painted ceramic black to prevent cops attention.

If you want a quiet exhaust for city driving but slight sporty sound at higher rpm, this is it!

Paid $1200 , asking $800 for local buyers

thanks,

Cal

Okay Calvin what are you upto next. Buying then selling then buying then selling.

You all are getting a good deal here with Calvins stuff coz stainless steel really doesnt deteriorate at all given that he got these in the summer and has not yet seen any rain etc.. He just got the stuff recently.

Cheers and a bump

I'm interested in the downpipe alone, provided Cal will ship it to Brooklyn.

Perhaps someone will buy the cat-back portion of the exhaust from him?

i don't think MRT downpipe will able to mate w/ the stock midpipe without any modifications.

I've heard various things from different vendors. Some say yes, some say no. I just got an e-mail from a vendor who said he did it himself. At any rate, getting it modified to do it shouldn't be a problem.

Excuse my ignorance, but does this exhaust fit a 2002/3 WRX? Your profile says you have a 2000 gc WRX hybrid.
I could be interested.

Hi..

sorry for the confusion.

The exhaust that I am selling is indeed for the 2002/3 WRX.
The reason being that I am using this exhaust is because I have a 2002 wrx motor in the RS. The only modification made to the exhaust to fit my car is the hanger near the alxe part. no biggie.. any muffler shop can do this simple fix.

cheers,

Cal

Could you give some info on how the hanger was modified please? Is the original hanger still there or was it cut off?
I am going to email you my phone number, so give me a call and we'll see if we can work a deal out. Call me soon because I am on the verge of ordering a turboxs system otherwise.

the hanger was modified to fit the GC chassis. which is located on the other side of exhaust pipping. the muffler shop i went to just cut off the original hanger and welded on other side. it can be cut back and re-weld to where it was before.

Yeah, you got me there, he'd have to ship to NY. Hope you're proud of yourself. Drive alone in the HOV lane? Drive down the center lane to cut everyone else off waiting patiently for the left-turn light? Ride down the shoulder and nudge into the front of the line at toll booths? Cut off the car in the right lane because you couldn't bear to get behind it before your exit?

Just another day for you isn't it?

Shame the monkey icon isn't available anymore.

Sheesh what a baby! If you look at his first post, you'll notice he said for local buyers. Buy the thing (if he even wants to ship half of his exhaust), I'll just pick up a new one locally.
