RIP 91 Honda Civic Wagon

Default Honda question... need clutch/pressure plate/flywheel recommendations

My car is about to go into the shop to have the transmission repaired and while they are at it I thought I would get the clutch upgraded. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've listed some pertinent info below...

I have a '91 2wd Honda Civic Wagon that has been modified... D16Z6, DC Sports 4-2-1 ceramic header, AEM short ram and custom 2 1/2 inch exhaust system. It has the original 5 speed manual transmission, but I have added a Quaife limited slip differential. I now get about 150-160 at the flywheel.

I want to upgrade from the stock Honda clutch and pressure plate. I am looking for something that will give me a modest increase in pedal pressure and positive engagement - I am not looking for a full blown race set-up. It has to be drive able on the street!

My mechanic has recommended an ACT pressure plate with the stock Honda disk. He said this would be called a "Stage 1"?? Feed back and other recommendations would be appreciated.

BTW, I use the car as my daily driver - but also my weekend toy. I spend a fair amount of time on twisty back roads doing road rallies. I also do open road racing, plus some track time on road courses. I occasionally rally cross and auto cross.
