Cool Great new deal on new WRX and imprezas

okay,
i dont' know if any members have recieved this but here it is.
i've just recieved an invitation from the dealership where i bought my WRX and also where my friend works at for one special day of discount on all new imprezas. The discounts on that special day are limited to people who recieved the letters and that they show up on the 4 hours interval on that special day so that they can get a discount on the new scoobys. Again the discount on the WRX and new imprezas are not open to the public. only to those who had recieved invitaions (like me hehehe ) can go , so pls dont' ask when and why and how if you are not interested in me helping you out..m,,
i've notice a lot of you guys asking about good deals in town so i'd thought i can help to make us scooby owners happier , .....
I'll be going there on that day anyways so if you'd like to come and join me and to check out the price and maybe make a deal on that day i'd be glad to help any members out. Which dealer it is i dont' think it's suitable to tell....
Oh , it's definitley not Richmond by the way.
And by the way, you guys should really not goto Richmond and ask for anything there anymore and i have a very good example to back up on my opinion on that: i know a dealer there who just bought a WRX there himself AND DID NOT get any discounts or whatsoever as well... so
unless you're crocodile dundee, chances are that getting any good service there are virtually 0.

Are the deals only on the 2002 or does it apply for 2001's as well? Also, doe this deal apply to people you bring? If only people who have just received new Subies are getting this deal, it doesn't seem like a good idea, cause you just bought one? So, is it sort of a you bring who you want and we will give them a deal? PM me if you don't want to post the info. Thanks

Ya, I got that invitation in the mail too.
You'll notice it says "special pricing on every new Subaru in stock".
Note the 'in stock' part, they don't have any manual WRX's in stock.....I just ordered one from there and it won't even be delivered until July or August. BUT, I'll go there just to be sure.

Got one... I have a feeling the "special" people are just everyone who's bought a car from there. I don't think it's such a big deal. Like Kev said, there are hardly any WRX's in stock I think, so to find one you like and get a deal is pretty slim. If you do though, then that's great! I think I might go and enter into the draw for the WRX jacket though!

Honestly, I don't think it's anything to get excited about. I got the same "Annual Private Sale" invitation too and it doesn't promise much. My parents got the same type of invites when they bought a Volvo from the place.

For those that are curious, the only solid "deals" they are offering (other than claims of discounts on new/used cars) is free 2 yr/40,000 km of free maintenance on a new Subaru and $1,000 cash back if you trade in your current Subaru for a Outback H6. But this is pretty similar to the deals they had when they had the "GARAGE SALE." (hint!)

But if I'm really bored on the June 14th (hint!) I guess I'll head down to the WESTSIDE (hint!) and try to win the WRX jacket. So, if anybody is serious on a trade-in or buying a new Sube, you can come along or I can just give you the (unaddressed) invitation if I'm not going.

I would come out and say the dealerships name, but it seems like some people want to keep it private. But then again, if you can't tell who it is by now, you really need help on your Vancouver Subaru dealerships.

ha
looks like a lot of us are getttin ghtat invitation~~~~~
now we can really help our members out...
their stock comes every 2 weeks and if you reserve one on that day you'd probably be getting one soon than not even offering a deal... i thought it just might help....
so basicaly the invitation are reallly to those who'd have bought cars from them , and it seems tha they are trying to get those people to buy more, or trade in their old subes, or bring in someone else...\
i'll talk to mmy friend ( a sales rep there) about the stock and keep you guys updated.

the reason why i wanna keep the dealer's name quiet becasue they are after all having a private sale and i dont' want to make it sound like i am promoting for them, but they really are great sales people, with great services even after buying the car~~~!! hehe
not like those other guys down south....

Tora i hope that answered your question if you have any more q's just ask more

I hope that jacket's a dopE~

I got that too... seems like a lure to get you into the dealership. But don't mind me; I'm always the skeptic. They're offering a "free" 2-year service plan of sorts too.

Btw, it's kinda easy to figure out which dealership it is, especially after your "it's not Richmond" bit. hehehe.

Kevin, what colour did you order? And Sedan or Wagon?

Fred

I ordered a WR Blue sedan.... who knows when it'll be here though, hopefully July.
What's all this secrecy about the dealer? It's the only dealer that's actually in Vancouver isn't it?
On a side note, the VW dealer in the Richmond Auto Mall has a silver 5spd and a blue auto for sale, both new. I asked why they had WRX's there and they said because they had a inside line on them and knew they would sell.

I think I'm going to go there and park my car right out front and try to sell it if I can. I know last time it got enough attention, hehe.

That's weird about a VW dealership grabbing up WRX's. Not a very good idea because if someone might actually by that instead of a VW, haha.

the wording "in stock" probably does mean all the cars available right away..
but i really do think the managers there can do something about the pricing on new WRX on that day because these guys really do loose a sale due to pricing.. and that's a fact~~~~~~
hehe sounds like i'm really on their side but i really want people to get their service thre because i've been really treated nicely even though i've been such a fuss there getting my car... and they do great services even after getting your car, treating you to many thigns.... (did i say that already?)
so like i've said the guys down south aint' worth the try because even a dealer there didn't get a discount into getting his WRX.
