Unhappy Ground Effects!

I recently received ground effects (Aka:Under Car kit/Lite) for my birthday from my friends, which they bought at Boys_CluB.
I fallowed the instruction perfectly and installed it…The first night I turned it on , everything was perfect, worked fine, but than the second night when I turned it on..it didn`t work….I checked the fuse and it blew out..So I thought to my self…”Must be the fuse or something” I changed it with a little higher amp one and turned it on again…didn’t work?, but when I went to check the fuse again, it had blown out?? So the next day I decided to go back to my old high school and work on it…The Shop teach and I tested the tubes….relay… and the transformer. Everything worked upset for the transformer…So my question is how did the transformer blow?? Or is their something I did wrong?? Cause right now a new transformer going set me back 100$ and I don`t feel like spend another 100$ after this if this one blows…

Has this ever happen to anyone??
Anyone know where I can buy a new transformer for less than 100$
BTW: The Brand of the Kit is Eurolite

Ask your friend to bring it back for an exchange or something.

Normally the fuses they give you are super low.....I didn`t want to keep changing fuses everytime..so I bought 9amp instead of a 8amp...

Could it be that the transformer was not properly put away. ie vibration and water, since it been really wet the last few days.

But I still think they should look it over and prove that you did do a bad install causing the malfunction.

I had the same problems with a kit that I bought. This kit was professionally installed for $125 Canadian. The first transformer died on the third night of use. . I took my car in to get it checked out and they found the same problem as you have, it was replaced under warranty. Two days later the lights went dead again. This time it was a fuse, so I put in a new fuse. It lasted around ten minutes. The transformer died again. The next day I took my car in again and was told that there was a limit on one transformer replacement under warranty . The day after that I took the disease infected crap off my car and back to the place of purchace. I was denied my money for a return so I went into the parking lot and drove over the kit for about ten minutes, that's when they finally sent out a security guard. I will never buy any Eurolites product again.
