Default OT: 1yr - what to do

So, it's coming to be the big 1 year (dec 5) since my girlfriend and I have been going out. I've got some ideas for a night on the town, however I'm still looking for more options as to where to eat and what to do.

What do you guys suggest? Best eats for buck? Closer to home the better, I'm in Langley.

how much cake you willing to spend, coz I know that helijet has some deal with the empress hotel in victoria, you get a flight to the hotel, dinner and a night in the hotel, I think. its like 3-400 pp.

might be a bit much, but look into a nice dinner downtown, I would suggest La crocodile, ouest, lumier and then get a nice hotel room. with a hot tub or soaker tub.

It's a resturant...I heard it's good...Lumier is going to cost you about 200 bucks still so the Helijet idea seem to get a good idea.

I recommend
Bishop's (Kits) finest dining in Vancouver!
or:
Salmon House on the Hill (West Van)
900 West (Hotel Vancouver)
Diva at the Met (Metropolitan Hotel)
Seasons in the Park (Queen Elizabeth Park)
Bridges (the upstairs part, Granville Island)

Good Luck!

Get a bottle of champagne (not brut) some good stuff, and get a nice hotel in town.
There's always a weekend getaway to Whistler...

HOT TUB

Good Luck!

What's up with that? What's wrong with marriage? Isn't that what you're working towards? Isn't that why you're together right now? To find out if you guys are right for each other?

Otherwise, brother, you're in it for the wrong reasons.

You're right Youth, no point in the relationship unless yer workin' towards the "M" word. We're both Christian too so we aren't getting any but we are hoping to come to know whether the other person is what we're looking for in the manners of bestfriends for life, love, and livability

I did the gasp thing cause people (like her mother! ) are already putting pressure on us to get married however we both believe we've got lots to do before then. I personally don't even know if I'll be staying in the area. I might go to grad school on the east coast or I even be called to do some missionary work in a different country. So we're just gonna take things one day at a time.

Thanks fer all your blessings and suggestions (I love ya Iclub brothers and sisters). I'll look into the restaurants and all.

Reckon, don't let anybody pressure you into marriage. Both of you will know when the time is right. There will be no doubt in your mind, and no regrets once you decide.

And BTW, marry her not because you can live with her, but because you can't live without her.

Good luck d00d!

Thumbs up Whistler

Take her to Whistler for the night.

You should be able to find some really good pricing just now because of the lack of snow and very low attendance rates just now.

You can enjoy the drive...... and then you both can enjoy the village and hotel.

Take her down to Lumieres and have Chef Rob Feenie cook you a mean gourmet meal for $135 a plate

...then off to the Four Season's for a night of Candle Light and Sweet Lovin'
