Yup I agree. Actually, I stopped using the cotton applicators from Zaino. I got a couple of round foam applicators from properautocare.com and I find they work a lot better. The polish goes on more evenly, and it seems to consume less polish. So, your $80 goes even further.

A couple of misconceptions and tricks for Zaino:

1)click me now

2) Zaino is NOT a wax, it's a polymer based protectant. You can apply any typical carnuba wax OVER Zaino for added deepness and shine.

3) Proper prepping of the paint is KEY to making Zaino really shine. Go to a local auto parts store and pick up a clay bar kit, best 10-20 you'll ever spend. Wash, dry, clay, wash, dry, zaino, and QUick Detail.

There's one caveat. If you do apply carnauba on top of Zaino, you have to Dawn/etc, stripping down to the bare paint again to apply more Zaino. You cannot apply Zaino on top of wax.

Yikes!! I looked at Page 1 of your gallery! Looks like your body shop did a nice job too.

Now, did you hit a red car, or is that blood.
