Me want a '01 Impreza - help!

Hey u guys..

I've followed this board for quite a while, and I finally have the opportunity to purchase an Impreza..

If it's possible, I'd still like to get a new '01 RS.. that is if the local dealers still have any left. I was wondering if u can recommend me a salesperson and dealer that u've had good experiences with in the recent while so that I can go and talk to them about my future purchase.

You cann't go wrong with Specialty. Excellent dealership in all departments.

Since there are only 3 dealers in town, I'd list them for you in order of preference and I'm sure this is what most people will tell you as well.

1) Specialty Subaru - bit far, but you will not be disappointed

2) Don Docksteader - good service, big dealership

3) Richmond Subaru - don't even bother. Trust us on this one.

Just don't go to the Richmound Subaru it's the worst but the other two are good.

Ken, go to DD, talk to Valdek Sweico. He hooked me up with my USDM RS, not brand new, but as close as you can get, only 19,000 km, bought in July. You've seen how mint it was. That car wasnt even advertised, it would have sold instantly if it had been. He called me first, and no one else, and it was too good to pass up. Next time I'm in Van I'm heading to DD to thank him. I have never been to Specialty, but by the sounds of it they are good. My dad bought his 02 Legacy from Richmond and has some bad reviews. Wolfe in Langley seems OK but they are a small dealership and rarely have any GC/GM's.

Edit: OK nevermind, I just saw the date of the original thread. I was gonna ask Ken what was wrong with his current 01 RS. Dont I feel dumb
