there is both a Auto-x and a Rally-x this comming weekend.

auto-x at the Rmsolo.org link, coors field fast tarmac lots of fun but spend most of the day for 3 runs.

Rally-x coloradorally.org. Doc's property, rough, rough rally-x fun if the car is stock hight with good shocks, good time to slide around in dirt, may get up to 6 runs with 3 in the morning and 3 in the after noon.

And there will be a Hotdogs and stuff for a resinable fee.

I auto-x out here most of the time, but the people in the rally scean is alog tighter, nice people always looking to help, and its more of a get together then a grit your teeth race. sence alot of the rally-x people are involved or want to be involved in club-rallying.

e-mail me if you want directions to the rally-x.

There's a rallyX this Sunday, and we're making some changes. We'll finally be able to use the 2nd gear on the course. This should make things a lot more interesting.

Finally! Another 2002 RS out there! I will no longer be a loner amidst all the damn GC8 RSs and the WRXs! I'll be in the Siver RS with the WRX hood, you can tell, I have no sideskirts. My roomate will also be out there in his 2001 too. For anyone else racing on Sunday I just want to remind you all the high will be 30 and the low 5 on sunday. Goodtimes! And I was going to run slicks for my first time, but no more, the 712s get one more flogging.

See ya Sunday,
Ryan

Well, I'll let Joel Turbo it tomorrow if he really wants to! Of course I won't be able to pay for it, but if you want to start a fund!

Also reconsidering AutoX tomorrow, I love the cold but if it's snowing the track won't be marked worth crap with the chalk and well, I just don't feel like standing out there freezin' my arse off.

The rallyX was awesome. Got to use 2nd gear 1/2 the time and probably ended up going about 50 on the dirt track. It's fun sliding the wagon around a course like that. .....I'll really miss it here.

The corse was awsome and taking 4 cones out in the last turn full boosted drift in someone elses Eclipse was the best part.

Hope she doesn't read this board.

Besides that i had alot of fun and Brian Moody did a great job of getting it orginized.

Plus Tom was a great sport today, and almost seemed like he had fun.

Default cone bashing

Man you plowed a crap load of them. I saw it firsthand

It reminded me of a course on Need For Speed Porsche (game), where the object of the game is to hit all the cones on the stage in the alloted time.

He specifically mentioned to me that I am not supposed to take out the finish cones.

That was a lot of fun! I was amazed at the amount of grip I had on that surface. Did I hear correctly, 6 guys popped tires!

Rallysquirrel, that was interesting feeling the difference between the two cars. Did you like that turbo?

Where were Jeremy and Thumper123(?)?

I am curious as to who won P and PGT. I think KeithRS was fastest on raw times in PGT... but that cone count? And man that rev limiter! Production had some serious championship implications since Ken had to drop points.

Next event is at Rainbow Falls on the 5th of January I think. Ice!

Rupert

Let's say I liked the turbo so much, I'm looking into getting the WRX before January. I may even come to the next event with one.

Once that turbo kicks in you just hold on. You know, I think that's been the only time I've held onto the "Oh crap bar".

Congratulations to all scooby drivers. We've got a WRX, Legacy and 2.5RS in the top 3.

Yes it was about time I pulled through. What can I say. If Keith had not knocked those cones down, he'd be sitting at the top. It comes down to luck too. I just finally ended up being lucky I guess. It also feels good that I don't really NEED a WRX to be competitive, but I want to get one nevertheless.

Just seeing how easily the WRX can be flicked, made me almost wet my pants and I want one now. I've been pricing it out and get get quite a few extras for $25k I'm looking at spending.

There were a lot of flat tires- I think I saw three... I never run a low pressure just because of that- I had 35psi on the Arctic Alpins.

I know I hit a lot of cones on my first two runs (and another on my 3rd run), so I am pretty far back from first. I started getting faster as I figured out how to drive (left foot braking made a big difference)- that's the first time I actually had fun on the surface out there (I think part of it was the wonderful lack of those damn 5mph slaloms...). I wasn't expecting my times to improve as mich as they did, otherwise I would have shifted!

I can't wait for more ice events- I had a lot of fun in the last series. I will probably be on the same tires unless santa gives me a bunch of money (or a set of 195/65/15 blizaks).

Smile Wagons Rule!

Congratulations Jan, Woohooooo! You've been knocking on the door all year long and you win the final. Can't believe we beat all the Open class cars! Do you really need that turbo?!

The "Ice" is Keith's domain-2002 PPSCC Ice Racing Champion-

So we better watch out!

Looks like we finished 1-2-3 in the PGT championship! Woohoooo what a year! Congratulations to all the Subaru drivers.

Erik, you sure you want to get rid of that Eclipse? When you got out of that car you looked like this:
