Cool Where to get a clay bar.. and only clay bar ?

I went to Canadian Tires and asked for clay bar, they got this system with wax and some other stuff in it which I don't need, and it's a huge box with a clay bar half the size of soap bars...

Wal-Mart doesn't have it(well it was on the way..)

Where can I get just the clay bars around here(604) ??

Lordco can order you in Meguire's clay bar. It comes in a plastic container, and the clay is about the size of your fist. It is the "professional" version so they say. It ran me about ~$40-50. I've used it twice and haven't even used 90% of it yet so it's worth it to get sap and crap off!

I've seen in magazines that shops use running water as a lubricant when clay barring, or should I always use one of those detail sprays like the directions say??

Ken - that sounds about right... i use fresh clay on each section that i do. if it's dirty... uh!! don't use it!!

DEVO - if you do not use the detail spray, you can scratch & "muck up" your paint really bad...

keep 'em shiny guys!!

... and how long can you use a chunk of clay for before throwing it away (before it gets too contaminated with debrie)? I've been doing 1/4 of my car with a piece while kneeding it now and then to get freshly exposed parts of the clay and then using a new piece when I start a new section of the car. Is that good enough Jamie?
