Question Hella 4000's....which beam pattern to use?

I plan on buying a set of Hella 4000 Halogen (i wish i could afford the motorsport version but those things are $$$$$)
I was wondering what beam pattern to use
I compete in TSD's or Road Rallys and I am looking for a good beam pattern to use
the choices are
Euro Beam
Euro Beam with City Light
Pencil Beam
Cornering Beam
I'm leaning toward the cornering beam since that give a wide dispersment with light and also a long dispersment too, but I want advice from those who have used them or are going to use them
Thanks

You want Euro beam.

I suggest you buy them from rallylights.com (Susquehana) as they do a good price for the kit.

I agree with the Euro pattern. You might want to invest in Hella 2000's with normal driving pattern then replace your fog lights with Hella 500's. Adjust the 500's to light the side of the road so you can see signs, intersecting roads, etc. With this combo you have the best of both worlds, and you spend the same appro. amount of money.

I wouldn't buy them from anywhere else but from www.rallylight.com
I already have the driving Hella 500's(I used to have the fog's too but I decided to donate those to the BC wildlife ) but they are mounted on the light bar right now
The plan is to replace them with the 4000's and move the 500's down to where the stock fogs go with the Kartboy mount

I have the 4000's in the Euro pattern on my Blazer for late night excursions. They are wonderful. I can't believe that the pencil beam would shine any further, these things already shine as far as I need...

Euro is fine for what you describe. I originally had the pencils as well but they are just not worth it. The pencil beam is so compact it hardly ever points at what you are looking at.
