Default Precision Racing Org - Coming 2003

http://www.precisionracingorg.com/

Saw this on the Evo Auto-x list last week.

There's really nothing on the site yet... but more details will be coming soon on this 30 event series, with mucho contingincy.

I'm just waiting to find out where I sign up.

hopefully i'll be in a better location than all they way down here in houston. my focus will be CenDivs next year and possibly Nats again. are these going to be SCCA or other sanctioned AutoX's?

From what I've heard, it'll be a separate organization and not associated with the SCCA.

Sully... there's nothing on that site anyway right now except for the flash into and a static.. coming 2003 page. You're not missing much right now.

My only objection was sitting through what seemed like twenty minutes of intro with no "skip intro" option.

Other than that just a little blurb of the idea would be cool.

Hey if some of the events are within driving distance, I'll do it.

Driving distance is defined by 5 hours or less.

It'll be interesting to see if they adopt scca classes and rules. I'd be interested if it were close.

It might be "close," but they won't be adopting SCCA classes. I know the guy who is doing this -- he's an ex-Peavey new artist scout, and he's big into marketing. This is going to be something probably with very few classes, and it's definitely going to be "sold" to the ricer/street racer crowd.

Oh goody.

On the plus side, they'll provide good cannon fodder for the real autocrossers. On the other hand, maybe they'll make Nawwsss a requirement to keep all of us SCCA folks out.

And yes, that is one of the most hideous displays of why not to use Flash I've ever seen.

Man, I am in one heckuva bad mood. Don't mind me.
