Default Good Bay Area shop?

Hey guys,

I have a bunch of parts for my WRX including coilovers which I would like to install soon. Which shop is the best one to go to in the Bay Area for installs? I need some JC FLT-A2s installed on my WRX soon. I'd prefer not to pay skyrocketed prices, but where have you all had the best experience? Info would be great!

Thanks,

Chris

Coilovers are actually very easy to install. By doing it yourself or with the help of some i-clubbers is a much better/cheaper way to go about it. There are installfests that happen all the time, you just gotta keep your ears open.

I would be more than willing to give you a hand if you need some help. There aren't too many things which do actually require professional installation and nobody here is going to tell you that they can install something they can't.

If you still don't trust us, then we can recommend a couple good shops like Red Star Racing in Hayward (I think), i-speed in San Jose, Auto Innovations in Milpitas just to name a few.

I totally understand what you mean, and I am all for that... Unfortunately I am only 18 and my father is the one who is pretty much in charge of who does work on the car. His main concern is that if a shop installs them and there is a problem we can go back to them, but if I install them with someone else, a friend, i-clubber, or such, and there is a problem, I'm SOL...

Yeah, but if you know what you're doing, you can fix it or return the product with a nasty letter. Yeah, my parents are the type that don't even understand why you would change any parts on a perfectly new car, so I know where you're coming from. Good luck and all the places I listed are great places run by great people.
