Actually one possible way is if you were running a RAID array and you combine both drives into 1 container. But for your purposes, as Parousia said, NO.

Default OT: computer help needed

Is there a way for me to combine two physical hard disks into one drive? The computer I want to do this on uses Windows ME. I want to combine the two disks on that computer so I have enough disk space to install Windows XP. They are a 1.2GB and a 404MB disk, on a Pentium 133. I know it's probaby easier to throw this thing out, and if it's not possible then it's not a big deal because I don't need this computer. But I just wanted to see if it's possible, just for kicks I guess.

There is no way in hell you can run XP on a 133. It will be so slow that you'll want to wash your car and give it a lube job as you wait for the thing to load. For a 133, you could run Win2K. Stay away from ME! That thing is evil. It's a half ass upgrade for 98. Reinstall 98 and run the update at the MS website.

I'm actually not going to be using it much, if at all. Like I said earlier, it's just for kicks.

The drives will always mount as separate.
