Default Info on and where to buy new lugs??

I need to purchase some new(better) lugs, and I was wondering if anyone knew the specs on which ones to use on 17" rota subzeros and of course where to buy them.I currently have the stock lugs on there now..I've tried searching on tire rack, but for some reason I can't find them. Thanks

Subaru fitting size is: 1.25x19mm

I just recently baught a set of SplineDrive nuts by McGard from www.cruisecontrolauto.com. Rob @ cruisecontrol will give you 10% off if you use WRX as your coupon code.

The SplineDrive nuts are neat in that the thread spins

inside the nut. The silver portion that fits against the wheel spins on it's own axis, that is, independently of the thread. That means that as soon as that portion of the nut touches and gets some pressure on the wheel it stops spinning. Then the thread just continues adding pressure on the wheels. No spinning ends mean no scratching the wheel surface at the contact point.

The kit comes with 16 nuts, 4 locks, a lock key and a lug tool. These are made for aftermarket tuner wheels, but I tried it on my stock wheels and it seems to fit fine. They have a cone-shaped tip.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Ron,

What did you end up buying in place of your missing nut?

I checked that site and the cheapest things they sold were $54. Maybe I'm missing something but isnt that a little expensive for 20 lugs?? I could really care a less if they are the locking type, or top of the line....i just need some long(er) lugs that I can actually take off without power tools....and 1.25 x 19mm is definitly the correct size??

Austin, you said you were looking for newer (better) lugs, you didn't mention you had a budget I spent $92 on my lug set But it's a locking set so it's more expensive, plus they're a new line for McGard so it's like the cutting edge stuff or whatever.

Dale, I got black ones.

Good luck find lugs. I dunno who else sells what but you might want to try Advance. Just don't ask them any questions... they're heads are liable to blow up.

That's odd. It works fine for me. Try www.subydude.com/parts/ for the link to the parts for sale page. The lugs are about 3/4 of the way down the page.
