Default Subaru Santa Cruz -- great experience

I just had my 15K service done on my '02 wrx wagon, and Mark at Subaru Santa Cruz really impressed me. Although this is just an oil change and check the brakes, rotate tires, etc. service point, they were prompt, professional, fairly priced, and even washed the car after.

I'm definitely going to continue driving over the hill for future maintenance, and like most everyone here, recommend Sub. of Santa Cruz for sales and service.

Thanks everyone for pointing out their excellent service.

I as have everyone else agree with you. Subaru of Santa Cruz's customer service and urgency to remedy a problem is almost unheard of when it comes to service and warranty at dealerships. They should get an award from the i-club or something

I'm going to buy an impreza within a month, and i've heard i can get a good deal from Santa Cruz, is this really true?

I live in Fremont, CA, and a busted trip to Santa Cruz would... uhh... suck.

Yes, you can, but they may or may not have what you want in stock. They have a relatively small lot.

However, even if they don't have exactly what you want, it's worth it to work with them. They can often get cars from other dealers within a couple of days, and they'll give you no-nonsense pricing and have a deal where they'll give you 10% off all Subaru parts and a free rental and stuff if you buy from them. They're really a great dealer.

Default call them in advance

Definitely call them in advance to see if they have what you want. In addition to the wrx's on their new car lot, they had another dozen or so (mix of sedans and wagons) on their used lot waiting to get cleaned up. In addition to colors, sedans and wagons, they each have varying options including security, premium sound, short throw shifter, automatic, cross bars, boost gauge, cargo tray, etc.

Call them with what you're looking for, and they should be able to tell you if it's on their lot, or not.

Anyone know what, if any, differences are between '03 wrx wagons and '02 wrx wagons?

Check out their inventory here I'm not sure how often they get new cars in. I drove all the way from Woodside to Subaru SC (Redwood City area) to purchase my car when Ron Prince was closer (right by my work too). You get free services for the first 3 years/36,000 miles which, if you had someone else do it, is worth about $800. the 10% off parts is really cool.

The biggest thing is, like the other guys say, the whole crew at Subaru SC really bend over backwards to make sure that you're taken care of. Plus, the drive over highway 17 is too much fun I'd recommend Subaru SC to anyone withing 200 miles. Well, maybe 200 miles is a little excessive, but you get the point.

Two thumbs way, way up for Subaru SC
