Ken,

I don't know how close it is for you but very worth it. I know the field of cars won't be as big as the eastern events but all the open and national teams should be there. Here at the eastern events, the field is usually around 45-60 cars (25% Subaru's).

From what you see on the TSN coverage, it's 50 times better in person. I gone to 4 out 5 last rallies... If I could I'd go up for both races in Alberta but I'll have to wait for Baie des Chaleurs in July.

If you want to see a real WRX, go and see Tom McGeer's car. Or EJ20 conversion, see Silvain Vincent's 98RS. Jean-Marc Alcaraz should be there with his Mazda 323 GTR (420hp!).

In other words, if you can go, it's worth it.

Cool

Good news! Subaru and the Pacific Int'l Auto Show are offering a contest: all expenses paid trip to the Rocky Mountain Rally as an honourary member of TNT Racing Team Subaru!

Stop by the Subaru Rally booth at the Vancouver Auto Show during March 31-April 9 and see the McGeer's WRX, Rally video and Sega Rally sim! Lot's of great brochures, stickers and contest details.

Thumbs up

Ken,
Rocky is the better one to go to. There is one central service area so you can check out all the cars. And most of the spectator areas are miniutes away from the service area. So if you have not seen one before, definitely go, unless you get an opportunity to see a WRC event!!!!

Just got back from the Auto Show a little while ago. It was worth checking out the Rally booth(located on the bottom floor)
I had a really good chat with a guy named Paul. He knew his stuff.

You can get the whole rally schedule from their booth...and a lot of other info!

The Subaru guy upstairs(from Wolfe Subaru) was kinda dumb... knew very little about the new Impreza.

Robin

Ok, I'm going to the Rocky Rally for the Sat. 27-May show! I checked out the Rocky Rally link to get info, but if anyone else out there has more, please post it or email it to me! Maps, directions, good places to watch, or if you're just going to be there -would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ken

Ken,
There should be spectators guide available either at the Sube dealers or at the rally headquarters (Best Western).
