Syms,

Not that I am defending what happened (and I'm not), but if it didn't hurt you car (and given the rally heritage of our cars, I doubt it did), sometimes **** happens.

You could approach this Morris guy and tell him you found out about it and is he willing to do something for you as a result.

Just a thought.

Peace,
MB

I feel when something like that happens, they should have the decency to tell you even if there was no noticable damage, but I've heard bad things about boom toys service.lets leave it at that.

hey Syms
why don't u lift up ur car on a four post hoist? by doing that u can do a really good visually check under ur car and see if there is any damage...unless u can recall u have a pretty bad hit on a bump or sth...or else the chassis should be "perfect" (or no bad damage)...
and also check the side skirts area...coz usually when ppl lower car they will either lift that up by a jack and four jack stands, or w/ a four post hoist...then damage will most likely be around the side skirts area....
if u really find sth...u can shoot them or do whatever u want...go get them to pay for repair or sth...but if u can't find anything...then i think that's not anything big deal that's why Morris didn't tell u...

Bender,

I TOTALLY agree. Businesses should either be "above board" or they shouldn't be in biz at all.

oh well...it's good that nothing major...but i just wonder how can an experienced mechanic let an Impreza to fall off the hoist??!! i only worry about those heavy Jeep or Trucks coz their inbalance weight...
