Angry Today I almost died....

I was going down Granville today and to beat a red light I sped up to 140km/h... so I beat it and then somehow I pissed off Mr."Souped Up" Tiburon and he decided to race with me.
We were both "at the line" on 70th turning right to go on Oak Street Bridge and I blew him off the line but he eventually caught up cause I had to brake to be safe cause I didn't really trust myself going that fast. My cousin was in the car too and he was pissing his pants...

So.... he decided to go off the first exit to Garden City and he lane changed. I went and cut in 4 cars ahead of him and I sped up to the light. On the bridge I swear we were going at 150km. Anyway, I didn't really want to race with him cause my cousin was in the car so I drove at the same speed as the car next to me so he can't cut in front of me... This worked until the Mercedes that I was 'paralleling' decided to speed up and as I looked into my rearview I didn't see him anymore... he was beside me and he was cutting in... ****! I slammed on the brakes and my ABS came on... and he JUST missed me...

If he hit me I would have jumped the curb and slammed into a tree or something.

Moral of the story: Don't race with passengers in your car, and Tiburons suck.
That had to be the ugliest car in the world... gold mags, big ass spoiler (what does he need that for? to fly?)...

Well, at least I am still alive, but I feel I have to do some modifications on my STOCK 2.5RS... DOH!

Kick some Tiburon ass...

The end, thanks for reading my rant.

Thumbs down

When you're in Richmond, what else is new. I can't remember how often I get cut off with half the car overlapped. Learn how to drive, ppl.

My last incident (of being cut off) involves a girl in a lowered Accord talking on cell, travelling west on Canada way in New West at nite. I was in my RS with my sister travelling on the left lane (2-lane road), this girl on the right lane decided to cut in front of me in a left curve, with half a car overlapped. My natural reaction is to jump left (on the wrong side of the road), then brake. There was traffic coming, but not yet near. Seeing that there is no room for me to overtake 2 cars (she was following another car very closely), return to my lane behind her, highbeam goes on. Next thing you know, she opened the sunroof, and put a cigarette up with ashes flying. If I had more road and less cars before I have to make right, I would have "eat" her car alive.

Getting cut off is one thing, getting cut off by a car that overlap your car is another. Sounded like the driver of that tiburon do indeed want you off the road.

Things like this happens, and I have been there many times. First few times, blow the horn for half the hwy. Now I just shrugs and see if I could overtake that car, and if not, it's not my day. As long as I still live...

As said before probably by many ppl, cops usually don't see this, and thus can't give tickets. Yet, speeding is much much easier to catch, so they will give lots of tickets for that. (Personally, I have received enough tickets - mostly speeding - that government loves me very much)

Just ranting.... I don't want to start these kinds of debate - gets my blood boiling

Well I don't see what I did really made me "want to play with him"... It was more like wanting to stop playing with him... well at least on Garden City that is... I didn't break speed limit once I got off the bridge

That Tiburon driver must be a lower life form from other planet . It is so good to know that you're OK. No need to call yourself a bad day when raced someone who doesn't have any sportmanship.
